Throughout the last several iterations of the software, Planisware has taken customer feedback seriously and created a platform that can be used with very little customization. This reduces implementation, consulting and maintenance costs. During an implementation it is essential to consider how the product will be supported long term. It is essential to have team members that are super users and trained by the vendor to support the organization efficiently. Recommendations to others considering Planisware Enterprise: Ensure there is ample support for post go-live. Most users are frustrated by simple navigation and or reporting and without a trained administrator this can lead to delayed user buy in. We are primarily able to resolve resource conflicts both before and during project progression. We utilize the resource planning module extensively and plan global projects at the task level. We are able to use this information to show leadership the FTE’s needed to complete a project. Additionally, this information has been used to support hiring additional headcount to support the portfolio.
